    Maryanne has been involved in adult education for 30 years. She is recognized through the APICS Instructor Development Program as a Master Instructor for CPIM and CSCP and a Lead Instructor for Lean Enterprise, Global Sourcing, and the Principles programs. She is also recognized as a Master Instructor in all three of the APICS Instructor Development Programs.  Maryanne’s professional background includes eighteen years in the medical, automotive, electronics, and consumer goods industries. 
     A member of APICS since 1989, she has developed interactive exercises to enhance the entire suite of APICS CSCP and CPIM review courses, and has served as a subject matter expert on the CPIM, CSCP, and Principles content development committees. She has been instrumental in creating activities and enhancements for the Principles and Lean programs, and has developed numerous workshops for her own company, including Inventory Management, Lean for Office, and Lean for Warehousing.
     Maryanne has held a number of officer positions at the APICS chapter, district, and association level.  She has served on the APICS Board of Directors, and recently as District Manager for the Mid-Atlantic District. Maryanne has served as President of the Blue Ridge, Roanoke, and DC Metro Chapters, and is currently President of the APICS Maine Chapter. She has developed content and presented at numerous supply chain conferences internationally, including the APICS International Conferences.

Maryanne has a broad training and development work history with large corporations, small businesses, and non-profit associations. She has taught leadership, supply chain, and management classes, and has led team building and strategic planning retreats for such organizations as Exxon Mobil, JLG, Manitowoc Cranes, DuPont, Volvo, GE, Astra Zeneca, Merck, Hershey, AOL, and many others.
Maryanne is adamant about creating an engaging and interactive environment which ensures that learning is both fun and informative.  She has developed interactive exercises to enhance any course that she teaches, concentrating on activities that will appeal to all learning styles.  She has a passion for developing other instructors, trainers, and consultants, and teaches a variety of “train the trainer” workshops.

Maryanne’s special passion is the workshop that she calls Personal Sustainability Planning. It can be thought of as a totally different type of company wellness program. Her proven process guides employees through the creation of their own personal sustainability program. This is the only process that encourages the workforce to give equal priority to their health and relationships, while attaining their career success.  Healthy, happy, engaged employees make a major impact on the productivity of their organizations while reducing the 2.3 trillion dollars being spent yearly on poor health and other absenteeism costs.
